How to Farm at Home: Start a Business That Grows Food and Income
We all know that for people, farming is a full time job. However, did you know you can do the same just at home? Below are four simple steps to farm at home. For a lot of people, the idea of having their own farm at home is a dream. This 1-acre Farming Sytem allows you to do just that. How you ask? Well, in this article I will be sharing with you how to make your dream come true. Now before we get started remember this is only ONE way to set up a successful farming system.
A lot of my friends know about this 1 acre farming system and many of them have already built their own. Some have full-time jobs as well. The piece of land doesn't have to be huge, but should have a water source at least on part of the property. A stream or tributary where you can build a small reservoir will do. Furthermore, your plot of land should be located in a fire-free area (so that it's usable all year). This is how I learned how to farm at home, it’s not hard once you get going and you find the best system for your needs.
The first step you want to do is find a suitable location. The location needs to be a flat piece of land that is easy to access. You’re also going to need a fence surrounding the property with posts buried at least 6 feet into the ground. The fence will prevent any unauthorized persons from entering the property.
Now, I’m sure this “dream” is close to every one of those people who want to have a farm at home. To live on a land, plant and harvest your own vegetables or fruits and feed your family with quality food, all you need is a piece of land, some seeds, the necessary tools to sow everything in proper conditions. And of course you'll have to work hard everyday. There really are no free rides!
